Some of John Leeder's songs have been recorded by others ("The Hudson Bay
Line" at least four times) -- now his long-awaited début CD brings to the
world his own versions of his own songs.

This is a folk album. There are no synthesizers, no electric guitars, no
drum kits -- sometimes, no instruments at all. Some of the songs do not have
known authors, others are written by people who are steeped in love of and
respect for the traditional music of Canada, the U.S. and Britain, and it
shows.

John is joined by folk group The Sunday Night Band, Celtic session band
Gan Ainm, neoCeltic band The Buccaneers (John's son Rodger is a member),
and numerous other musical friends. An eclectic bunch of those friends form a
Singing Throng for chorus vocals.
